Well, Will has started his baseball season. 4 year old t-ball has been a blast. Our team consist of 11 4 year olds and man is it tough to keep their attention. They would much rather be picking weeds out of the outfield or making dirt piles at shortstop. However, they do like to hit. In fact many of them only want to hit and actually try to walk off the field when we are on defense.
Will has done well so far. He enjoys just playing with the other kids. At this point he could care less about winning/losing. Not so bad for 4. Having fun is what we are all about. If you know me then you will know that Donna has to remind me of that many times during games.
Donna is a "coach" as well. She is a big part of our team and handled the dugout during games. This is by far the toughest part of being a coach. Remember, 11 4 year olds!
This past Monday night Will had his own cheering squad. He had probably 20 people at the field watching him. It was great. The only thing is Will could care less and still does his own thing.
Thus far the t-ball season is going great and we hope to post some photos soon.
