Fayette Rainbow

The other night after one of our passing thunderstorms this rainbow pops out. Donna, Will and I got a peak on the way home from Wal-Mart. Just another reminder about the power of the God we serve.
Pretty cool! Remember, God promised Noah with a rainbow that he would never again destroy the earth with water.

Gulf Shores - Summer 2008

Nascar Will!

Will just chillin!

Donna was the hottest thing on the beach. Especially for those that fall into the "mom" category.
We spent Wednesday afternoon through Sunday morning at the beach. It was a great time had by everyone. We had some friends at the same complex and Will enjoyed playing with their son on the beach. We did the racetrack and Waterville.
Will drove the go-carts and you should have seen him on the water slides. The kid has no fear!
Great time relaxing. Hard to go back to work today, but we had to get back into the groove. Monday's after a vacation are the worst!

Tree Climber

Tree Climber!
You guessed it! He is climbing trees. This is a magnolia in our front yard. Pleanty of limbs and easy for him to get up into with limited help from dad. Now, he doesn't do it unless we are with him. He is not that brave. However, it is only a matter of time. I just pray no broken bones.
Will is at a fun age. He and I have alot of fun goofing around when I get home in the evening. He is and will always probably be his mama's baby, but he likes hanging with dad. No, not just from trees.
If you have a good tree to climb just call us. We may just want to climb it if that is ok.

Scooby and Friends Skating Party

We went to a skating party on Saturday. It was Chloe's birthday and she had a Scooby Doo skating party. It was great!
Now, I will say that it was obvious that the 30 yr old parent crowd skated better than the youth and younger kids. Apparently they don't skate as much as we did when we were that age. It was a great workout and I felt it the next day.
Donna was a show out. Yes, she was the girl that could skate backwards. I on the other hand was more of the speed guy. You remember, a little out of control. However, I could go fast. Yes, I did take out a few kids. Hey, they should have moved out of the way.
Will started slow (only his 2nd time to skate), but by the time we left he had it down. We just need to take him more. He enjoys it and makes quite a show when falling.
It was a fun day and Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velmas were great. The kids all loved them. Donna has already said that we are borrowing the costumes for Halloween.
