Tide vs. Ole Miss Oct 2008

The Brown family had a great day on Saturday. We did our usual when the Tide is in town and that is to attend a football game. Another victory, but that was only part of the fun.

On this Saturday in October we had my buddy and fellow SF agent, John Acker and his son, Eli over. They are Ole Miss fans (according to John Eli shifts from Ole Miss to Miss St depending on who is better). We met them in Northport when they arrived from Columbus, Ms., where they live. From there we took them towards campus. The first stop was for a big pizza at Mellow Mushroom and then on to the stadium. Neither had been to Bryant Denny for a game, so it was exciting.

Once we got on campus we showed them around a little. After the game we showed them a little more. I think both enjoyed the RTR experience. Ole Miss' stadium sits 60ish thousand, so walking into BD stadium and 92000 fans was cool for them.

Will and Eli both were wearing their teams jersey's as you will be able to see in the photos.

Anyway, it was great day. John is a good friend and has been for several years. He is a good christian guy and I enjoyed the fact that him and his son got to be a part of something that our family enjoys doing so much.

Hey, it was even better that we won. RTR!!!! Sorry Ole Miss.
