Christmas Lights 2008

We love Christmas time. Of course it is a celebration of Christ coming into the world as man to provide a way for each of us. Isn't that what Christmas really is all about? We forget due to all of the "things" going on around us, but we should always remember.
Part of this celebration is the lights. Donna, Will and I enjoy riding and looking at all of the lights. It is fun and something that we make a point to do as a family. Just us riding through neighborhoods (and our park here in Fayette) looking at all the lights . Some families have the theme approach. Others, well they just stick them anywhere there is a spot.

Take time with your family and go for a ride. It is fun for kids of all ages (0-100).

Disney World 2008

Well, the Brown's went to DW. It was great! We took Will down on Thursday the 4th for his birthday. We flew out of B'ham that morning and arrived in time to have lunch with Tiger and Poo. Lunch was a b'day party for Will and he loved the characters.
The trip lasted through Monday with my mom and dad staying through Sunday morning. I think they enjoyed the time with Will. I know he sure enjoyed them.
As you can see from the above pics we visited everything we could in the 4 days were were there. Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. I think Animal Kingdom was my favorite. Cool animals!
If you asked Will he would tell you that Mater and Lightning were his favorite. We had to visit them a couple of times. He had to tell them bye before we left.
Overall, I would rate this vacation an A+. Very fun and nice to see my 5 year old enjoying himself so much. Truly a vacation for him, but mom/dad (and grams/pop) had a great time.
I have to go now. I'm still tired. Certainly not the same as laying on the beach and doing nothing.
Where is my suntan lotion?
