Monster Trucks

Saturday night Will, Donna, Paw Paw and I went to B'ham for monter trucks. You read correctly. I went to monster trucks. We had a great time!

Will is into trucks and he saw the ad on tv and had to go. It was great. Grave Digger was there along with El Toro Loco (our favorite because it has horns). There were others, but it didn't matter.

They tore up cars, spun around wildly slinging dirt and roared their loud engines. Will had a great time and is ready for another Monster Jam.

Good time and we were glad that Paw Paw made the trip with us. Will loves his Paw Paw.

Hey, if you have never gone to monster trucks you need to try it. Just don't wear pink. If you do people will stare at you. My suggestion is to wear black.

Will's haircut

Donna decided that Will needed a haircut. He was getting a little long on the ears, but it looked cool. She just didn't want him starting back to school with shaggy hair. Also, if you know Donna then you are aware that she can save a penny when possible. I think she just didn't want to spend her $.

Remember, Donna has a "beauty college" degree and actually cut hair for a short time after highschool. She is also the personal barber to me and her dad (pawpaw).

Anyway, she did fine and Will looks great.

Rain, Rain Go Away!

I am tired of rain! I know, it is good for the plants, fields, trees, flowers, etc..... Ok, enough already. Listen, we have had 5.72 inches in 24 hours. You think that is enough? Well, let me answer. Yes. Yes it is enough.

Hey, this summer we will probably wish we could get a little rain. Right now we have had our fill.

My river looks like a lake. As I rode around the county today it was apparent that many others have the same issues.

Anyway, rain, rain go away. Don't come back till another day.
