We spent Memorial Day at the beach in Orange Beach. We had a great time. We left on Friday night and stayed until Tuesday.
The Deals and the Cottons were at the beach, so we had a great time just hanging out with their families. Will especially enjoyed himself because it gave him friends to play with at all times. The only problem was how late we got into bed each night. I was worn out. I'm getting older. I need my rest. By the way, Will and Donna got the master bed and I was sent to the guest room to sleep on a single bed. Story of my life!
We did the usual things; eating good, playing on the beach and diving for shells. The beach was beautiful (may not be much longer with the oil) and the water was nice. Our family loves the beach and hope to be able to return this year. It makes us sad that it could be destroyed for some time due to the spill.
