9-10 Fayette 2 Baseball Update

Well, we are 9 games into our season and my team is playing pretty good.  We have 6 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie.

This is Will's first yr in the 9-10 year old league.  This is a big jump, as it is our first year in boy pitch.

Will is having a great year.  I am very proud of how he continues to develop in all areas.  He is a good team player and is willing to do whatever I need him to do on the team.  Tonight he played 2nd, but he has also played center field for me.  I have promised he could pitch this year to at least 1 batter before the season is over.  We will have to see about that.

I will keep you updated as we finish up the last 5 games.  Maybe we can win a few and end up in 2nd place.

Below is my/Will finish every year since we started:

4 yr tee ball - 1st
5-6 coach pitch - 4th
5-6 coach pitch - 2nd
7-8 machine pitch - 1st
7-8 machine pitch - 2nd

Not bad!  Check back later for an update on the end of this season.  Go Will!

Kaleb Webster's bday

We picked up Kaleb Webster this past Saturday at his new house in Northport.  He is one of Will's good buddies that has recently moved from the Fayette, Al., down to Northport.

This past Saturday we took him to dinner at the Japanese steakhouse in Tuscaloosa for a little bday dinner.  He got his favorite, shrimp and then we were able to get the waiters to sing to him.  He really enjoyed it and even got to eat some FREE fried ice cream.

We were also able to carry him and Will to Game Stop in the mall for a video game purchase.

It was a good day and we hope Kaleb had a good time.
